Punjab Institute of Management and Technology (PIMT)
Punjab Institute of Management and Technology (ISO: 9001:2008 Certified & also IAO Certified) was established in 1997 by Gobindgarh Educational and Social Welfare Trust (GESWT), a non profit organization as a pioneer institute to impart quality professional and technical education in management. PIMT runs full-time AICTE approved PG programmes in MBA, MCA & UG programmes in BBA, BCA, B.Com (Professional) & Dual degree Courses in Management (BM, BAM, MAM). The institute is offering specializations in Marketing, HR, Finance and IT for MBA course. It has been rated one of the Top B-Schools by B-School Survey as well as one of the Best MCA College by Silicon India.
Establishment of this college has enabled Mandi Gobindgarh to have a premier professional institute. Mandi Gobindgarh despite having a high preference for education, did not have good colleges for higher education. The establishment of this college hopes to fill the gap.
